One of the objectives of the ANR COLLABORA project is the construction of an observatory of cultural participatory platforms.
With the term « cultural participatory platforms », we refer to any digital device that allows actors of the civil society to contribute to the construction of knowledge related to cultural objects in interaction with one or several cultural institutions (archives, libraries, museums, theaters or directly a central administration such as the Ministry of Culture).
The ANR COLLABORA project aims at proposing an operational definition of this type of device from the analysis of the existing platforms.
The systems were analyzed under three aspects:
- The contributor (audience, contribution conditions, user profile characteristics, etc.);
- The data (type of data collected/produced, status of the data, task performed, etc.);
- The interface (access modality, relationship with other digital spaces, etc.).
